Unstamped Flimsies
There are numerous examples of unstamped flimsies. Flimsies of course were being sent for about a year before before stamps were introduced. These early flimsies are quote rare.
But there were other occasions when stamps were not used. Whether they were unavailable, were not used to reduce cost for certain 'locals', or were simply not used in some communications between the agencies and their HQ it is not known. Below are two such flimsies.

Flimsy dated 26.9.04 to Mrs Howie asking her to send a telegragh to Te Aroha.

Flimsy dated July 23rd 05 letting 'Mum' know Leah arrived this morning and shall be home on Thursday's boat as Ted is dangerously ill. No trace of Mabel, Leah and Ted have been found in the history books to date.

Undated Flimsy but printed 1904 from the Pigeongram Agency. Message asking the recipient of the flimsy to send stamps and postcards to the addressee.
